I have the great pleasure of designing my childhood friend's Wedding Package and have completed the first phase! Eve and James met in Medical School and are completing their residency together at Stanford Hospital. I used the fact that they never have time to do anything but be doctors, as my inspiration!

Art Blocks for Ghana

I was lucky enough to be involved in yet another fund raising effort for the children of Africa. In this case it was the Picture Book Project Foundation that put together a charity art auction of original works created by top artists within the animation and illustration community to provide boarding and education for orphaned children in Ghana, West Africa.

The theme given to all of the artists was Home. Below is a portrait of my grandfather in one of his happiest moments; Playing his accordion for his family. To see more amazing artwork and to learn more about the Picture Book Project Foundation, click here.

Brownstones to Red Dirt

Two colleagues of mine, David LaMattina and Chad Walker, have created a feature-length documentary entitled Brownstones to Red Dirt, about a pen pal program between a group of at-risk sixth graders living in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn and orphans from the war living in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Here is my contribution to an art benefit inspired by the film. You can read more about the benefit itself and the documentary that inspired it all here.
